About the Opportunity
Controllership & Accounting
- Oversee monthly close processes in partnership with outsourced bookkeepers.
- Ensure QuickBooks accuracy, conduct payroll audits, and manage general accounting tasks.
- Maintain financial accuracy and compliance across the organization.
Strategic Finance & Planning
- Develop financial models, scenario planning, and board reporting materials.
- Collaborate on pricing strategy and ad hoc strategic initiatives with the CEO/Founder.
- Participate in shareholder meetings and support potential transactions.
- Provide financial storytelling and analysis to guide strategic decisions.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with the CEO/Founder on operational and strategic priorities.
- Support initiatives that drive company growth and efficiency.
- Serve as a key contributor to board and shareholder reporting.
About You
- CPA designation
- 4-7 years of progressive experience in controllership, currently operating at an experienced Manager level
- Experience within small to mid-sized organizations
- Strong corporate accounting foundation combined with FP&A and business partnering capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
- Proficiency with QuickBooks is considered an asset
Salary Range
$120,000- 140,000 + bonus + equity
