The Financial Data Analyst reports to Financial and Accounting leadership to support financial decision‑making through financial and operational data analysis and reporting in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis and data analysis to support the business and deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc analyses of revenue, COGS and profitability.
- Analyze inventory trends, operating margins, expenses and cost estimates, providing reporting and recommendations, as needed.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing analysis, and long‑range planning.
- Maintain data integrity and develop financial models using company systems.
- Prepare and analyze financial and operational data by customer accounts, product lines & locations.
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis and assist the financial and accounting leadership with presentations and reporting.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant corporate financial and data analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical and communication abilities. Adept at working in various ERP and business systems software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
