On behalf of an entreprenurial, owner-led commercial real estate firm in Dublin, we are looking to hire a Financial Controller/ Finance Director.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role working directly alongside the Managing Director and CFO on new acquisitions, portfolio management, and the continued scaling of the business.
The firm manages a diversified portfolio of commercial assets across Ireland, spanning office, retail and industrial. This is not a large corporate environment. You will have real influence, real ownership, and direct access to senior decision-makers from day one.
The Role:
- Own the full finance function across the portfolio, including SPVs, holding structures, and property-level entities
- Support new acquisitions through financial modelling, structuring, and execution
- Manage treasury, debt facilities, and lender relationships
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management at asset and portfolio level
- Monitor portfolio performance – yields, IRR, returns, and covenant compliance
- Oversee a lean internal finance team, as well as multiple external advisors
About You:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA) with c. 10 years PQE
- Background in real estate, property investment, private equity real estate, funds/ SPVs/ ICAVs, or investment management
- Technically strong with hands-on experience across reporting, treasury, tax, and debt
- Commercially minded – comfortable being close to deals and influencing decisions
- Ability to lead and develop a team
