Part-time Financial Controller required in Warrington
About the role: We are looking for a detailed-orientated and experienced Financial Controller to join us at The Part-Time Finance People to support our clients in Warrington and surrounding areas. We provide tailored financial support for SMEs with our clients specifically requiring an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller who can lead the finance function and provide clearer visibility around the financials on a part time basis.
About You:
You should be an experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Preferably, you are already self‑employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.
Your expertise should include:
- preparation of management accounts/reports
- experience and working knowledge of Xero ( ideally exposure with Sage
50, Quick Books as well) - experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls
- year‑end processes (but not statutory accounts)
- experienced excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs
- proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
- you must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years) with experience managing a finance team.
