About the role

The Product Control Lead is the financial integrity engine of the Group.

You don’t only oversee the numbers; you take hands-on, daily ownership of their accuracy. You will be at he intersection of Finance, Treasury, and Trading as the primary guardian of P&L integrity, translating complex on-chain and exchange flows into clear, actionable reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role that also builds a high-performance, high-accountability culture within the Product Control sub-team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily P&L Validation: Own daily and flash P&L for brokerage and asset-management strategies (crypto directional, yield farm, funding); validate results and resolve anomalies against source data.

  • Month-End Close (MEC): Manage the end-to-end MEC for the Product Control scope across multiple entities, ensuring timely delivery, layered reconciliations, and stakeholder sign-offs.

  • Loanbook & Counterparty Reconciliation: Oversee the Group loanbook by reconciling internal records against counterparty, on-chain, and exchange data; resolve principal and valuation discrepancies.

  • Multi-Entity Financial Control: Maintain strict financial control across group entities, including yield-cost calculations, inter-entity flows, and specialized reporting for each product line.

  • Team Leadership: Serve as the operational lead for the Product Control sub-team, managing daily execution, setting performance standards, and driving a high-accountability environment.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central link between Treasury, Trading, Accounting, and Operations to eliminate departmental silos and control gaps.

  • Automation & Systems Engineering: Build Python and AI-driven automation pipelines to optimize reporting, and define the business logic and data architecture for upgrading the internal loan management system.

What we are looking for

  • Strong experience managing multi-entity month-end closes, financial controls, and complex reconciliations.
  • Background in Product/Financial Control in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of directional trading, yield farming, exchange APIs, and on-chain ledger/reconciliation data.
  • Interest in data automation and some experience defining business logic for financial systems.
  • Experience in managing team workflows, setting performance metrics, and maintaining high accountability.
  • Exceptional communication skills to bridge technical desks (Trading, Engineering) with corporate functions (Accounting, Treasury)
