Key Responsibilities

Local Responsibilities (Luxembourg Entity)

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Lux GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with MiFID II governance and reporting obligations, including transaction reporting and capital adequacy monitoring.
  • Regulatory Filings
  • Coordinate CSSF regulatory submissions and liaise with auditors during statutory audits.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Develop and monitor budgets, analyse variances, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Internal Controls
  • Maintain robust internal control frameworks aligned with MiFID II standards to mitigate operational and financial risks.

Global Finance Support (Entity support)

  • Group Subsidiaries
  • Oversight of the financial administration of Group subsidiaries
  • Group Consolidation
  • Assist in group-level consolidation processes and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Cross-Border Coordination
  • Collaborate with global finance teams on strategic projects, including funding, liquidity management, and transfer pricing compliance.
  • Audit and Tax
  • Partnering with our Service providers to ensure all questions are answered and responses prepared for audit and tax compliance.
  • Vendor Management
  • Liaising with Service Providers to ensure they meet our internal and external deadlines
  • Reporting
  • Provide timely and accurate financial data for global management reporting and decision-making.

Key MiFID II Financial Compliance Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on capital adequacy and liquidity requirements in line with MiFID II and CSSF regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely transaction reporting to regulators.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of governance frameworks, including risk management and internal control systems.
  • Assist in preparing regulatory disclosures and responding to CSSF queries.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to conduct of business rules, client asset protection, and record-keeping obligations.

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will be based in Luxembourg and possess:

  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience: 4–7 years in financial control or accounting within a regulated financial services environment; exposure to MiFID II compliance is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP; proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel.
  • Languages: Fluency in English; French or German is an asset.

Please note this role is based full-time in our office, 5 days a week.
