What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a motivated and precise Financial Controller to strengthen our finance team at our Amstelveen headquarters. As we continue to grow across sectors and markets, you’ll play a key role in strengthening performance management, improving transparency, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the group. You’ll be part of a small team of experienced finance professionals, report directly to the Group CFO, and work closely with both financial and business stakeholders. No two days are the same at CPH.
What you will do
As Financial Controller you sit at the heart of the group’s finances, combining hands-on control with the analysis that drives better decisions.
- Ensure the company has sufficient credit facilities to support its current and growing operations.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts.
- Own currency risk management and FX hedging.
- Prepare budget-versus-actual comparisons for trading activities.
- Analyse trading data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the audit process.
- Support the Purchase-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes.
- Own cash flow and working capital management.
Who we’re looking for
You’re an analytical, well-organised finance professional who enjoys turning numbers into insight and thrives in an international environment. We expect:
- HBO working and thinking level.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (an additional language is a plus).
- 3–5 years’ experience in controlling or finance within an international organisation; experience in commodity trading is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and a talent for setting priorities.
- Proficient in Power BI and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Business Central is a plus.
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
