We’re looking for a Finance Consolidation & Reporting Analyst to join our client’s vibrant finance team in Madrid. In this role, you’ll prepare financial reports and analyses that help steer strategic decisions. You’ll collaborate with various departments to gather data, assess financial performance, and spot opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the consolidation process for our corporate legal entities, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations and addressing any errors that arise. Team up with our country finance teams to keep the closing processes smooth and timely. Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial reports, like income statements and balance sheets. Help prepare consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS, including detailed notes and supplementary information. Conduct monthly reviews to provide clear explanations of financial balances and variances to our senior management team. Support the integration of newly acquired entities and assist with calculations for goodwill. Work together with the team on managing working capital across different countries. Provide vital data and documentation for mergers, acquisitions, and audits. Take part in quarterly and annual forecasting and planning processes. Share your knowledge and mentor junior team members in their daily tasks. Help lead the rollout of new accounting standards and ERP systems, making sure everyone gets the training they need.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance. Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Fluent in English, with strong written and spoken communication skills. Experience in mergers and acquisitions, especially in integrating new entities into financial reporting. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a multicultural team. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. A proactive and innovative mindset that thrives on new challenges.
