The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day finance function, with responsibility for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and general finance administration.
This role is ideal for a motivated finance professional looking to develop their experience within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
About the Role:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Process supplier invoices and customer receipts accurately
- Perform credit control activities and monitor outstanding debts
- Reconcile supplier, customer, and bank accounts
- Investigate and resolve account queries and discrepancies
- Assist with payment runs and cash allocation
- Support month-end close and financial reporting activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and finance procedures
- Provide general finance and administrative support to the wider team
Your Experience:
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or similar finance role
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, and Credit Control processes
- Experience using ERP or accounting systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proactive and collaborative approach to work
