General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst I to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow.
GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

Major Position Responsibilities:
Conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects.
Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units to track the organization’s progress against financial goals.
Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making.
Analyzes cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.
May also support corporate planning by conducting analyses of operational effectiveness and capacity utilization.
Basic Qualifications:
Manager Specific Requests
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting & 0-2 years relevent experience in Accounting/Cost Estimating.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
Must possess good analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
Required
Associate’s Degree in Finance or Accounting & 0-3 years’ relevent experience required OR equivalent combincation of relevent education &/or experience.
