Position: Financial Analyst for WestJet FP&A
Elevate your career as a Financial Analyst at West Jet, collaborating in-person up to five days a week to support financial processes. This role focuses on modeling, forecasting, and analysis to drive key business decisions.
West Jet is actively seeking an Analyst for our FP&A team, reporting directly to the Director. In this role, you’ll engage in financial modeling, track KPIs, and analyze complex business data. Your insights will significantly contribute to both tactical and strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support detailed financial modeling and analysis for various projects
• Build and maintain budgeting models and ensure accuracy
• Track key performance indicators and highlight risks
• Communicate changes in the operating or economic environment
• Present monthly financial results and forecasts to partners
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Commerce or Business Administration
• 3-5 years in financial analysis roles
• Intermediate financial modeling and analysis skills
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel; experience with BI tools is an asset
