We are working with a number of established financial services organisations in Malta that are looking to hire Financial Analysts / Finance Officers to join their growing teams. These roles offer strong exposure across financial reporting, analysis, accounting, and business performance within dynamic and regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial reports, management accounts, and analysis
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance
- Assist with cash flow monitoring, liquidity tracking, and forecasting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with VAT/tax submissions and audit processes
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams including finance, risk, and operations
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Knowledge of IFRS or regulatory environments is an advantage
- Proactive, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and analytical skills
