Our client, a leader in aerospace & defense, is looking to hire a Financial Analyst. This role is fully onsite in Winston-Salem, NC.
*This is a 1-year W2 contract with benefits!*
As a Financial Analyst, you will support financial analysis for a product manufacturing program, working in close collaboration with engineering, program management, operations and FP&A teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Evaluate new business cases, verify methods of estimation, and certify profit margin recoverability, providing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting updates regarding net investment and recoverability
- Prepare inputs for monthly & annual cost and sales forecasts, providing variance analyses against prior forecasts
- Present estimates at program completion to ensure cost accuracy, arranging and documenting modifications in preparation for audits
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience, Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or 10+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, comfortable with using Pivot tables, IF-Statements, VLOOKUP, and more on a daily basis
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Working knowledge and experience with SAP ERP
- Experience with PP&C or Percentage of Completion Method
- Prior experience in aerospace, defense, federal, government, and/or manufacturing environments strongly preferred!
