Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to contribute immediately with minimal training.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general ledger accounting activities in accordance with GAAP
Handle month-end close processes and reporting
Utilize SAP for accounting operations and reporting
Analyze financial data using advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex calculations)
Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial data
Prepare journal entries and support financial audits
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting)
Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel
Background in manufacturing or medical device industry preferred (not banking or services)
Ability to work onsite in Westford, MA and start immediately after onboarding
