Finance Analyst
As a Finance Analyst, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and broader team to deliver robust financial support and challenge to business stakeholders. You will play a key role in the full management accounting cycle, from budgeting and forecasting to strategic evaluation and financial reporting. Your insights and analysis will be critical to enabling informed decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver timely and detailed financial analysis to help business units monitor and understand their performance.
Provide clear, concise commentary on revenue, cost drivers, and overall business performance, offering actionable recommendations.
Support month-end close activities, including posting journals and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
Identify budget variances, highlighting risks and opportunities, and propose strategies to address them.
Profile:
Experience in retail or FMCG sectors, ideally retail
Progressing towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
Exceptional attention to detail with financial and statistical data
Proactive, self-starting approach to tasks and challenges
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Commercially savvy and business-focused
Excellent relationship builder with strong customer focus
