Title – Financial Analyst
Duration: 6+ Months (Potential Hire)
Work Location: Nashville, TN 37203 (Willing to work hybrid schedule (Tuesday – Thursday)
Responsibilities
- Resolve inventory and receiving discrepancies in the accounting system.
- Close and write off aged work orders with proper documentation.
- Manage price maintenance, trade agreement updates, and related financial issues.
- Reconcile banking, cash transactions, and resolve discrepancies.
- Process and resolve customer and vendor settlements, including aging cleanup.
- Investigate and correct settlement variances in compliance with financial policies.
- Support business to business account reconciliations and needed financial adjustments.
- Perform bad debt assessments and write-offs following approval guidelines.
- Execute UAT test scenarios and document issues, ensuring workflows perform as expected.
- Conduct post-release validation to confirm accurate financial transactions and system behavior.
Qualifications
- A proven track record of academic and professional excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
- 2-3 years’ experience in a high growth or transformational environment with similar responsibilities.
- Hands-on style with ability to dig into details.
- Proficient in Excel.
- A high attention to detail required.
- Microsoft Dynamics experience viewed favourably.
- Data entry experience viewed favorably.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Information collection and management skills.
- Problem identification and research skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
