Responsibilities
Kforce is partnering with a Saint Louis, MO-based client, to identify a Financial Analyst for a hybrid opportunity with a well-regarded organization. In this role, you will support budgeting and forecasting for business services functions, analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, and prepare monthly management reports that provide meaningful insights into spend and overall financial performance. Responsibilities:
- Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for business services functions
- Perform variance analysis and provide clear commentary on actuals vs. budget/forecast
- Prepare monthly management reports and deliver insights on spend and performance
- Partner with department leaders to evaluate financial results and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning and investment decisions
- Track and analyze KPIs and operational metrics
- Support business cases, procurement initiatives, and vendor negotiations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with automation of reporting tools and templates
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred
- Experience in FP&A or management accounting, ideally within professional services
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities with stakeholder influence
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., Elite 3E) preferred
- Knowledge of legal industry operations and cost structures preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
