We’re looking for a hands‑on Cost Analyst to support our growing Finance function. This role focuses on COGS analysis and partnering closely with Production and Procurement to drive cost control and margin improvement.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead cost accounting and monthly variance analysis (material, labor, overhead).
- Analyze production cost trends and key KPIs to identify cost drivers, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation, cost flow through COGS, and perform standard cost reviews.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, GP analysis, and financial modeling for manufacturing‑related decisions.
- Improve ERP costing processes, BOM accuracy, and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with cost accounting standards and support audits.
- Provide cost insights for tenders, CapEx, and strategic decisions (e.g., make‑vs‑buy).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (CMA/CPA a plus).
- 3–5 years’ experience in cost analysis or management accounting, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong ERP costing knowledge (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to translate financial insights into clear recommendations.
- Strong communicator and cross‑functional collaborator.
