The Financial Administration Intermediate Analyst will support budgeting, expense tracking, and reporting for our clients. This role includes reviewing monthly and annual excise distributions, total returns, Board reports, and year-end tax reporting. The Analyst will assist in the preparation of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports in line with GAAP and SEC requirements, and help with SEC filings (e.g., N-CSR, N-CEN, 24F-2, N-1A).
Key Responsibilities:
Review and update vendor info and payment instructions for fund expenses
Perform reviews of excise distributions and total return calculations
Prepare quarterly Board reports and assist with year-end tax reporting
Support the preparation and review of financial statements and SEC filings (e.g., N-CSR, N-CEN)
Collaborate with teams to improve processes and host training sessions
Handle client inquiries and ad-hoc requests as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in accounting or reporting in the financial services industry
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Strong understanding of financial markets, mutual funds, and ETFs
Experience with SEC filings and regulatory requirements is essential
