Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their corporate finance team. This role is ideal for a highly independent professional with strong corporate FP&A experience who can serve as a trusted business partner to corporate functional leaders, support executive-level reporting, and translate detailed financial analysis into clear, concise summaries for leadership.
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting corporate centers, developing insights for corporate presentations and decks, and helping drive planning and reporting processes. Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with corporate functional leaders and cost center owners to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Act as a business partner to corporate centers by providing financial insights, analysis, and decision support.
- Prepare and support corporate-level reporting packages, leadership presentations, and executive decks.
- Synthesize detailed financial results and business partner input into clear summaries and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Analyze trends, variances, risks, and opportunities across corporate functions.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles, including forecast updates and budget preparation.
- Work independently with minimal oversight while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Based on general knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience, with strong background in corporate FP&A.
- Proven experience supporting corporate functions and operating as a strategic business partner.
- Strong ability to synthesize complex financial information and present it at the corporate or executive level.
- Experience preparing presentations, board materials, or corporate decks for leadership audiences.
- Highly independent, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with Workday is valued, and exposure to Workday Adaptive Planning is strongly preferred.
The salary range for this position is $40.00 to $55.00 hr. Benefits available to contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
