About the Opportunity
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting, such as Sales reports and customer P&L
- Identify areas of opportunity and/ or concern and provide recommendations
- Prepare weekly variance analysis, including sales and GP reporting, with a high degree of accuracy and strict adherence to deadlines
- Manage and review general accounting journal entries
- Ensure that general accounting journal entries are accurately recorded in accordance with company deadlines and accounting processes
- Communicate with field operations to accurately process Commissary & Non-Trade Business
- Support the annual budget and forecasting initiatives
- Other tasks that will be assigned on an ad hoc basis
About You
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis role
- Currently pursuing a CPA designation
- Experience with month-end duties, including accruals and journal entries
- Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments with minimal instruction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Macro programming skills are an asset
