Our client, a global leader in aerospace and defense technology, is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team supporting critical FP&A and credit collections initiatives.
This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits and paid holidays.
As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will partner directly with the Finance Controller and cross-functional business leaders to provide financial insights, forecasting, reporting, and credit collections support.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support forecasting and business decisions.
- Perform program financial analysis, quarterly forecasting, and P&L variance reporting.
- Partner with Sales, Repairs, and Product Line teams to drive accurate monthly forecasts.
- Develop and deliver financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and support month-end close activities.
- Support credit collections by assisting with customer account maintenance, issue resolution, and payment tracking.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related finance function.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, financial modeling, and complex formulas.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Experience with ERP and financial systems such as SAP, OneStream, Hyperion HFM, or Blackline/ARMs is preferred.
- Experience supporting a Fortune 500 organization or within the Aerospace & Defense industry is highly preferred.
