Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Analyst role based in Gurugram. We’re looking for a highly analytical, detail-obsessed individual who can own the numbers backbone of Asai — from marketplace reconciliations to business MIS to financial insights. This role sits close to the founders and will play a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, financial control, and decision-making clarity. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will support decision-making by building and maintaining financial models, analyzing historical performance, and preparing forecasts and budgets.
Qualifications
- Experience 1-3 years
- Strong foundation in Analytics & Finance, with the ability to interpret business performance and support strategic decisions.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, including strong Excel/Google Sheets capabilities and comfort working with large datasets.
- Experience working with Financial Statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and Financial Reporting is a strong plus
- Experience in consumer products, retail, or D2C/e-commerce environments is a plus.
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CIMA, CA Inter, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving processes and controls.
