We are looking for an Associate to join our Business Valuation team.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in valuation who is looking to deepen their experience in financial analysis, valuation modelling, and advisory work across a range of industries.
Key responsibilities 🔍
• Support business valuation engagements for various purposes, including financial reporting and transaction support.
• Assist in applying valuation approaches.
• Analyse historical financial performance, forecasts, cash flow, and key business drivers
• Prepare financial models and valuation workings
• Perform industry research, market benchmarking, and comparable company analysis
• Prepare draft valuation reports, presentation materials, and working papers
• Assist in assessing key assumptions, value drivers, and valuation issues
• Liaise with clients and internal teams on information requests and project progress
• Support seniors and managers in delivering engagements within the required timeline
Requirements ✅
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in business valuation
• Good understanding of financial statements and basic corporate finance concepts
• Good Excel skills and comfort in working with numbers and data
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good written and spoken English
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
Added advantage 📌
• Progress in ACCA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional qualification
• Exposure to financial modelling and valuation methodologies
• Familiarity with DCF, trading comparables, transaction multiples, and discount rate concepts
