Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial Accounting Analyst, based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for some remote work. The Financial Accounting Analyst will be responsible for full cycle accounting, month end, reconciliations, revenue recognition entries, and developing detailed financial reports. Additional responsibilities include supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis and assisting with compliance and accounting best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reconciliations, journal entries, revenue recognition, full cycle accounting, preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting is a must
- Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data and supporting decision-making
- Experience with Journal Entries and fundamental accounting principles
- Comprehensive understanding of Finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation or progress towards it is an asset
- Familiarity with financial tools and software, including AI-enabled accounting systems, is a plus
