The Role
- Day-to-day accounting, end-of-month financial statements, and variance analysis.
- Support month and year end closing activities (Group & Statutory).
- Assist and support compliance and statutory requirements, including leading audit and tax obligations (GST, FBT, and BAS).
- Assist with consolidation and managing end-of-month financial reporting process (including reconciliations).
- Preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Business partnering with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and guidance.
- Assist with any potential future M&A activities.
About You
- 2+ years or experience in corporate accounting.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance and CA/CPA qualification (preferable).
- Knowledge of statutory requirements relating to BAS, GST and payroll tax.
- Accredited tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience of business process improvement.
- Must have full work rights to work in Australia.
