ACCPRO are working with a leading insurance firm to recruit for a Financial Accountant. This is a initial 12-month contract but with scope to extend. Ideal candidates will have a strong IFRS 17 background. €70-75k + bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare management and statutory financial reports, including variance analysis
- Present financial insights to senior management
- Support accounting processes, including reconciliations and data integration into SAP
- Analyse data flows and ensure accuracy across financial systems
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
- Monitor investment portfolio and ensure accurate month-end processes
- Assist with budgeting and planning cycles
- Drive system and process improvements and support ad hoc projects
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant
- Strong insurance/reinsurance background
- IFRS 17 knowledge
- Solvency II experience an advantage
