As a Financial Accountant, you’ll have the opportunity to work at the heart of a business that handles complex operational demands alongside the chance to make a tangible impact within a collaborative and forward-thinking financial team.
Your Role: Key Responsibilities
- Manage full month-end reporting, ensuring accurate consolidation of financial results across multiple entities.
- Preparation and analysis of management accounts, providing critical insights to aid decision-making.
- Oversee financial controls, ensuring compliance with relevant internal and external regulations.
- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with auditors during the year-end process.
- Handle intercompany reconciliations and transactions across multiple entities.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to streamline financial reporting processes and implement best practices.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure the business achieves operational goals.
What We Are Looking For:
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, with post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in multi-entity or complex business environments, including group consolidation and intercompany processes.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including proficiency in UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail and a proactive nature.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems would be advantageous.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across various business functions.
Salary
£55,000 to 60,000k basic plus full benefits package to include annual bonus up to 10%, Hybrid working (3 days office based)
