Title: Finance Systems & Transformation Manager

Company: STORENT EUROPE

Location: Riga, Riga, Latvia

About The Role

We are looking for a Finance Systems & Transformation Manager to build and continuously improve the operating system behind Storent's global finance function. This role combines finance, technology, process excellence and business transformation, and sits at the centre of how the Group scales its finance operations across countries and newly acquired companies.

You will own how financial information flows across the Group, how finance processes are designed, standardized, automated and scaled, and how newly acquired companies become part of a single finance operating model.

You will be the functional owner of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and all connected finance applications, but your mission goes far beyond ERP administration. You will design finance processes that support Storent's long-term growth strategy, acquisition-driven expansion and international operations. You will work closely with the CIO, Group Finance, country finance teams, IT, external implementation partners and business leaders to ensure finance operates as one integrated platform across all countries.

Competitive salary

5000 – 6000 EUR gross per month, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the finance systems landscape, including Dynamics 365 Finance and connected applications. Act as the functional owner of finance modules, workflows, approval hierarchies, chart of accounts, financial dimensions and master data.
  • Build and continuously improve one standardized finance operating model across the Group, ensuring all entities follow common processes, controls and reporting standards.
  • Design scalable end-to-end finance processes (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Expense Management, Treasury and Intercompany) that support long-term international growth.
  • Own the complete accounting document flow from transaction creation through approvals, postings, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Lead finance transformation during post-acquisition integrations. Map existing processes, migrate acquired companies to Storent standards, implement controls and establish reporting and month-end close routines within agreed timelines.
  • Own finance master data governance, including chart of accounts, legal entities, cost centres, customers, vendors, fixed assets and financial dimensions.
  • Ensure finance data integrity across ERP, rental management, banking, CRM, payroll, document management, treasury and business intelligence platforms.
  • Own the systems side of the monthly close process. Improve close quality, reduce close cycle time and eliminate reconciliation issues.
  • Identify automation opportunities using workflow automation, AI and modern digital technologies. Build business cases, prioritize initiatives and drive implementation.
  • Represent Group Finance in ERP implementations, system integrations and major digital transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor integrations, reconciliations, posting errors and workflow bottlenecks. Resolve root causes and convert recurring issues into permanent process improvements.
  • Support Business Intelligence by ensuring finance data is structured, governed and available for dashboards, KPI reporting and analytics.
  • Embed internal controls into finance systems, including segregation of duties, approval thresholds, audit trails and validation rules.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, ownership matrices, control points and KPIs for every critical finance process.
  • Lead change management, user training and adoption of new processes and systems across the Group.

Success Measures:

  • Reliable and timely month-end close across the Group.
  • Consistent finance processes across all countries and acquired businesses.
  • Reduced manual journals, reconciliation issues and close cycle time.
  • Higher automation and workflow efficiency.
  • High-quality master data and finance reporting.
  • Successful and timely integration of acquired companies.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or a comparable ERP system.
  • Hands-on experience leading ERP implementations, finance transformation or process improvement projects.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and end-to-end finance processes.
  • Excellent understanding of finance systems, integrations and data structures.
  • Experience integrating acquired companies into common finance platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in fast-growing, multi-entity, international organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-improvement mindset.
  • Experience with workflow automation, Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Finance, IT and business stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English in order to communicate with colleagues in the group.

Nice to Have:

  • Equipment rental, logistics or asset-intensive industry experience.
  • Private equity-backed or acquisition-driven business experience.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and multi-country reporting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or AI-enabled automation.
  • Experience with internal controls and audit environments.
