Position: Finance Superintendent (Controller)
Location: Val-d’Or
Tasks
Financial Management and Accounting
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting operations (closing entries, reconciliations).
Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Produce financial reports for management and governing bodies.
Collaborate with external and internal auditors.
Ensure compliance with tax obligations (Revenu Québec and CRA).
Financial Planning and Performance
Oversee the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function.
Ensure the quality and reliability of financial forecasts.
Support operational teams in analyzing results.
Participate in the improvement of internal controls.
Systems and Continuous Improvement
Ensure the integrity of financial data within SAP.
Participate in the optimization of financial systems.
Contribute to special projects (grants, tax credits, etc.).
Continuously improve financial processes.
Perform any other related duties associated with the position.

Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
CPA designation (required).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
