We’re partnering with a well-known, large UK-based operator that is investing heavily in technology and data to modernise and strengthen its core finance processes.
They are looking for a Finance Product Owner to take ownership of the Purchase Order to Pay (P2P) process, playing a central role in shaping and improving a business-critical workflow. This is a high-profile role with direct visibility to senior leadership, offering the chance to make an immediate, tangible impact.
Initially a 12-month fixed-term contract, there is a clear pathway to a permanent Product Owner position, giving long-term ownership and strategic influence over the process.
The Role;
You’ll take ownership of a key finance process spanning request through to payment, combining responsibility for process design and systems improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading enhancements to the P2P process and supporting systems, delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and reliability
- Mapping workflows and designing optimised processes for scalability, control, and clarity
- Driving system and process changes end-to-end, from specification to implementation
- Introducing structure, governance, and clear performance reporting across the process
- Acting as the central point of coordination across finance, technology, data, and operational teams
This is a hands-on, highly visible role where you’ll see the direct results of your work quickly.
Who We’re Looking For;
- Experience delivering process and/or system improvement projects, ideally in finance or transactional environments
- Strong process mapping and redesign capability
- Experience with enterprise systems or platforms (finance systems helpful, but not essential)
- A hybrid Product / Business Analyst / Delivery mindset
- Comfortable operating across project delivery and ongoing governance
- Excellent stakeholder engagement across multiple business functions
- Pragmatic and delivery-focused, able to turn ideas into results
