We provide Regulatory Governance, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Recruitment and Technology services (the “Services”) to a large number of clients including global, regional and local financial services institutions, governments and other industry partners. As part of our global expansion plan, we are now looking for an ambitious and agile professional with a strong background in finance to join our team.

Mission / Purpose of the Role
The Finance Officer plays a critical role in strengthening the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the client’s financial and accounting processes, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting, and full compliance across all business entities. The Finance Officer works closely with the senior leadership team to streamline financial operations, improve internal frameworks, and support strategic decision-making. Additionally, the role manages taxation requirements across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely, compliant, and optimized tax outcomes. Ultimately, the Finance Officer contributes to the organization’s stability and growth by building reliable financial systems and enabling informed, data-driven business performance.

Key Accountabilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Ensure data integrity in client accounting systems
- Manage accruals and provisions
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly book close
- Prepare client trial balance, balance sheet and cashflows with detailed insightful analysis and commentary for Board pack.
- Prepare and submit regulatory returns
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Where applicable, assist the Head of Finance on all matters relating to the internal management of accounts including consolidation of group entities, VAT preparation, accounts receivable and accounts payable oversight and management, and filing of annual audited accounts.
- As the lead Finance Officer, capably support the client and represent them externally wherever needed.
- Supporting front office and stakeholders on tax rules and taxes generally concerned with clients and related products.

Audit & Senior Management Support
- Assist with other assigned duties including accounting, internal and external audit proactively, or administration roles.
- Support Senior Management with multiple financial mandates.
- Planning, coordinating, reviewing, and validating documentation with the utmost attention to detail.
Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Take overall responsibility for the preparation and submission of regulatory reports with tax office and other regulatory bodies.
- Proactive advisory relation to IFRS standards and applicable accounting regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client data.

Role-Specific Competencies
- Technical Financial Mastery: Deep understanding of IFRS, accruals, provisions, financial statements, trial balance preparation, multi-entity accounting, and reporting controls.
- Multi-Jurisdictional Tax Expertise: Ability to manage complex tax matters including VAT, CRS, FATCA, DAC6, QI requirements, and compliance obligations across jurisdictions.
- Compliance & Regulatory Governance: Well-versed in DIFC/ADGM finance officer responsibilities, taxation rules, regulatory submissions, and documentation for audits and authorities.
- Stakeholder & Client Management: Strong capability to manage CEO-level clients, respond to taxation notices, and guide internal teams and front office on tax implications and processes.
- Independent Issue Resolution: Strong ability to identify discrepancies, review transactions, draft responses to authorities, assess compliance gaps, and escalate where appropriate.
- Financial Systems & Process Efficiency: Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle, etc.), strong Excel skills, and ability to maintain accurate data in client accounting systems.
Skills and Knowledge
- Accounting & Financial Reporting Expertise: Hands-on experience with IFRS standards, monthly close processes, accruals, provisions, and preparation of Financial Statements.
- Taxation Knowledge Across Jurisdictions: Strong understanding of VAT, sales tax, global tax transparency frameworks, and how rules apply to clients and financial products.
- Regulatory & Audit Preparedness: Ability to prepare regulatory returns, support audit cycles, maintain audit-ready documentation, and address auditor requests efficiently.
- Documentation & Data Integrity: Strong capability to maintain accurate ledgers, schedules, reports, and clean accounting records across multiple client entities.
- IT, Excel & Accounting Software Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office, accounting systems (QuickBooks, Oracle), and maintaining financial data accuracy.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Clear, confident communicator able to interact across all levels of the firm, support front office, and manage client expectations.
- Time Management & Ownership: Highly organized, able to manage multiple mandates, tax deadlines, financial cycles, and high-volume work under pressure.

Education & Experience
- ACCA, CIMA, CA, or CFA required.
- Master’s in Finance & Accounting preferred
- Experience10–12+years in financial services
- Additional Requirements: Strong IFRS knowledge and experience with accounting systems preferred
