Role Overview
The Finance / Office Admin is a key bridge between Finance, Operations, Membership, and Events teams. You will manage daily finance reporting, supplier invoices, and office administration tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive individual who enjoys numbers and wants exposure to both finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Prepare daily sales dashboard and reconcile cash-up bundles.
- Manage accounts payable, supplier invoices, and payment follow-ups.
- Reconcile payments, tenders, and event bills; ensure all revenue is tracked.
- Generate invoices and official receipts for S&E customers and corporate memberships.
- Support month-end reporting and track variances between Operations and Finance.
Operations & Membership Support
- Act as liaison between Finance, Operations, Membership, and Events teams.
- Assist with event billing, refunds, and credit allocation for members.
- Maintain accurate records for events, F&B receipts, and commissions tracking.
Office Administration
- Manage office maintenance, vendor communications, and correspondence.
- Handle scanning, filing, and archiving of finance and administrative documents.
- Provide ad-hoc support for projects and data requests as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant finance/accounting experience.
- Good foundation in double-entry accounting; experience with Xero preferred.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, data reconciliation).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Meticulous, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and analytical with an eye for detail.
