Lead and manage finance teams devoted to safeguarding and accurately reporting on sacred funds. This influential management role requires oversight of financial operations while meeting mission-driven standards and compliance requirements.
As a Finance Manager, you will supervise a dedicated workgroup comprised of Accountants, Analysts, and Clerks, focusing on team performance, staffing, and training. You will research and address unique financial challenges while also contributing to the preparation of essential financial reports required for compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage team performance and staffing decisions
• Assign work and oversee finance projects
• Resolve specific issues affecting the unit
• Develop compliance reports for senior leaders
• Participate in special initiatives as directed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory
• 8 years of experienced required in finance
•
Preferred qualifications:
CPA, CMA, or MBA
• Familiarity with financial reporting software required
• Strong communication skills necessary for effective management
