- Oversee Japan Finance team in regulatory reporting and compliance operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial, regulatory, and tax reporting deliverables.
- Act as primary finance contact for regulators, auditors, tax authorities, and key internal stakeholders.
- Review and approve financial statements, management accounts, regulatory submissions, and statutory filings.
- Drive continuous improvement of financial controls, systems, and reporting processes.
- Provide financial insights to leadership to support business performance and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications [ 必須条件 ]
Experiences [ 経験 ]
- Strong knowledge of Japanese accounting standards (JGAAP) and IFRS.
- Proven experience in financial accounting within banking or securities environments.
- Hands-on experience with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements in Japan.
- Experience with corporate tax filings, consumption tax, and indirect taxes.
- Experience managing audits and working with external auditors.
