Role Description
The Finance Manager / Finance Director is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities to support strategic and operational decision-making. Key responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. The role partners with business leaders to evaluate financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support resource allocation decisions. It also drives improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
In addition, the role leads or contributes to financial strategy development, including capital management, cost optimization, and profitability analysis. It ensures timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders, and supports audit processes and regulatory requirements where applicable.
The position also plays a key role in building and developing finance teams, establishing best practices, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the finance function.
