Finance Manager – Banking
Our client is a leading international FinTech organisation within a well-established group, offering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment in Luxembourg. They are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to play a central role in shaping and strengthening the finance function within a newly established regulated banking entity. This position suits a proactive professional who enjoys building structures, driving improvements and working at the intersection of finance, regulation and business growth.
Your responsibilities
- Support the setup and ongoing development of the finance function
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance across finance activities
- Act as key contact for regulators, auditors and internal stakeholders
- Oversee financial reporting, audits and month-end processes
- Contribute to new product initiatives from a finance perspective
- Manage finance-related outsourcing arrangements
- Coordinate board and shareholder meetings, including documentation
- Support payment processes and core finance operations
- Assist with capital planning and FP&A activities
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar
- Strong experience in finance (financial controlling, accounting, audit, regulatory reporting, FP&A, payment processing..) within regulated banking environments
- Independent, analytical thinker with a hands-on and solution-oriented approach
- Proven project management skills with the ability to deliver effectively
- Solid understanding of financial and regulatory frameworks
- Experience in payment services is an advantage
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
