We are currently looking for an experienced and business-oriented Finance Manager to join our leadership team.

The Role

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all local finance activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, effective budgeting and forecasting processes, and compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.

The position leads a local finance team consisting of Financial Controllers and Accounting professionals while working closely with the Shared Service Center in Hungary, where transactional accounting and payment processing activities are performed.

As a key business partner to the Plant Management Team, the Finance Manager will provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making to drive operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead and develop the local Finance team, including Financial Controllers, Chief Accountant, and Accountants.

·        Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with local and group requirements.

·        Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis processes.

·        Provide financial guidance and business partnering to the Plant Management Team and other functional leaders.

·        Monitor plant performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.

·        Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.

·        Coordinate and oversee cooperation with the Shared Service Center in Hungary regarding accounting, payment processing, and transactional finance activities.

·        Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and corporate governance standards.

·        Support internal and external audits and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.

·        Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, productivity, and profitability indicators.

·        Drive continuous improvement initiatives within finance processes and reporting.

·        Act as the main point of contact for corporate finance stakeholders and external financial institutions when required.

Qualifications and Experience

·        University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

·        Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting and minimum 3 years of leadership responsibilities.

·        Experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive industry experience is considered a strong advantage.

·        Strong understanding of financial controlling, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting.

·        Experience working in an international organization and matrix environment.

·        Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting regulations.

·        Proven people management and leadership skills.

·        Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

·        Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

·        Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

·        Fluent English (written and spoken).

·        Bulgarian language proficiency required.
