The Finance Platforms Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the development, management, and optimisation of finance systems at Merlin Entertainments. This role ensures that all finance platforms support the company’s business objectives, comply with regulatory requirements, and drive operational excellence. Managing a team of six Finance Platforms Systems Analysts, including three Senior Analysts, the Finance Platforms Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver innovative solutions and maintain seamless system performance.
Experience and Qualifications:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in finance systems management, with a proven record of leading teams and delivering projects.
Experience with finance platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems is essential.
Strong knowledge of financial processes, regulatory requirements, and system governance.
Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent are advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
Leadership: Ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of finance systems and their integration within a global organisation.
Project Management: Proficiency Skilled in delivering complex projects, with proficiency in project management methodologies.
Communication. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
