We are looking for a Finance Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company as well as different projects. You will work closely with the CFO and other C-level managers and Directors. Are you the one we are looking for?
Your tasks
We are moving into the scale-up scenarios which also means that we need more structure and set processes for the Finance team. Working together with the CFO you will ensure that Kvasir Technologies at all times will be compliant with regulations, laws, and with all requirements set by our stakeholders.
A main task will be to do business analysis for the development and optimisation of the company. Therefore, you should enjoy being the outgoing communicator who communicates clearly and based on data and analysis.
In the role as Finance Manager, you will be expected to own or contribute to the following tasks:
- Financial reporting to relevant stakeholders
- Daily operations of the finances end-to-end from payments and bookkeeping to month-end and year-end processes with the auditors
- Contributing to the continuous development of our finance processes as well as reporting e.g. to the board to ensure transparency
- Support the organisation with financial analysis for further development and optimisation of the company
- Owner of forecasting, liquidity management, and budget process
- Different ad hoc tasks
What we are looking for
Being our Finance Manager, we expect that you have relevant experience within the tasks and responsibilities of the finance team. Maybe you have experience as an auditor and want to move to the "business side".
It will be a benefit if you have experience working for or together with a start-up in the scale-up phase, and that you are motivated by handling a broad variation of tasks from routine to development. Experience with grant-funded or subsidised projects is not a requirement but will be considered an advantage.
You have a great focus on how to support the business and are pragmatic in how things can be solved to add most value to the business, of course within all laws, regulations and good practice standards.
We work in E-conomic why it will be an advantage for you to know this system.
Working in a small team also means that you should enjoy working with processes end-to-end, take pride in your area of expertise, and always think of how to solve the problem in a pragmatic way and not being too "set in your ways".
