About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and elevate our finance function. You will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, supervise a small team, and partner closely with leadership to guide strategic financial decisions.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a key liaison with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify variances or issues.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support digitalization and automation projects within the accounting function.
- Implement technology upgrades and improve accounting workflows.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor accounting staff to foster professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative, service-oriented, and high-performance team culture.
- Provide actionable financial insights and advice to senior leadership.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Manage ad hoc financial projects and special reporting requirements.
- Carry out other finance-related duties as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification preferred (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA).
- Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in non-profit, education, or international organizations is an advantage.
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as SAGE X3, is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership.
