We are supporting an established medical device company in hiring a Finance Manager for its Netherlands office.

Position Introduction
This is a hands-on finance role responsible for the full finance scope of the Netherlands entity. The role will cover daily accounting, bookkeeping, tax, reporting, audit coordination, and finance operations. Depending on the candidate’s experience, the role may also support finance matters for the Belgium entity.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full-cycle finance and accounting work for the Netherlands entities
- Manage bookkeeping, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, expense review, and payment processes
- Prepare monthly financial reports and support group reporting
- Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, and local authorities
- Support VAT, corporate tax, statutory filings, and audit-related matters
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure local compliance
- Work closely with the international finance team and local management team
- Support finance process improvement and internal control execution
Requirements
- Solid hands-on finance experience in the Netherlands
- Experience in trading, distribution, commercial, healthcare, or medical device companies preferred
- Able to independently manage full-cycle finance work for a small local entity
- Familiar with Dutch accounting, tax, audit, and statutory compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a hands-on role within a small team environment
- English communication skills required
- Open to experienced or senior candidates with strong practical finance capability
