Own every Bahraini dinar, Saudi riyal, and dirham that flows through our rails. You’ll make sure merchants are paid on time, balances always reconcile, and cash is forecast weeks in advance—while building lightweight processes that scale as we grow.
Core Responsibilities
Daily Settlements & Payouts
Download PSP settlement files, validate net vs. gross, and upload bank batches.
Monitor cutoff times and release funds with zero-error tolerance.
Cash & Liquidity Management
Maintain rolling 13-week cash-flow forecasts across multiple currencies.
Optimize working-capital buffers and flag liquidity pinch points early.
Reconciliation & Controls
Tie transaction logs → PSP reports → bank statements; investigate breaks fast.
Own month-end close: journal entries, fee accruals, VAT postings.
Bank & PSP Relationships
Act as primary contact for account openings, file formats, and FX spreads.
Negotiate service levels and drive automation where possible.
Process Automation
Design spreadsheets or simple scripts (Excel, SQL, or Google Sheets + Apps Script) that replace manual checks.
Document SOPs so new markets plug in easily.
Compliance Support
Keep tidy KYC folders and payout audit trails for regulators and auditors.
Partner with Ops on AML monitoring rules.
Ideal Profile
5–8 years in treasury, settlements, or finance operations at a PSP, marketplace, or payments-heavy SaaS.
Hands-on with multi-currency settlement cycles, ISO 20022/CSV payment files, and bank portals.
Strong Excel & basic SQL; bonus for scripting (Python, Apps Script) to kill manual work.
Familiar with GCC banking and VAT; IFRS knowledge a plus.
Startup mindset: resourceful, detail-obsessed, comfortable wearing multiple hats.
Excellent English; Arabic helpful but not required.
