The company is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of new silicon-based materials such as functional silanes and nano-silicon materials. One of the leading industrial scale enterprises. The products are widely used in automobiles, rubber products, construction, medicine and medical treatment and other industries, and are specialized and special new enterprises, high-tech enterprises, and manufacturing single champion demonstration enterprises in Jiangxi Province. The registered capital of the company is NT$1.5 billion. The headquarter is located in Jingdezhen, the Millennium Porcelain Capital. Hungpai New Materials (Thailand) is its sister company, with a factory headquartered in 304 Industrial Park, Prachinburi province, Thailand.
Job Summary: Assist in formulating the company's financial strategy; oversee financial management and internal controls; complete financial plans; manage all aspects of the finance department. Communicate with mother company to ensure compliance with stock market regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all accounting modules (GL, cost, AR/AP, tax, treasury); ensure compliance with TFRS and group requirements; maintain accurate and complete accounting records.
2. Organize monthly, quarterly, and annual period-end closings; review entries and financial data; prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and management reports on schedule; coordinate dual-standard reporting.
3. Review all accounting vouchers, expense claims, payment requests, and contract financial terms; control daily financial risks and prevent non-compliant operations.
4. Complete annual budget preparation; coordinate departmental budget submissions; track budget execution; conduct variance analysis; flag over-budget or abnormal expenditures.
5. Conduct regular operational analysis focusing on product cost, production losses, manufacturing expenses, inventory turnover, and revenue/profit; identify anomalies; drive cost-reduction initiatives across production and procurement departments.
6. Participate in product pricing and order profitability assessments; provide accurate financial data support to business units.
7. Oversee the factory's production cost accounting system; supervise cost accountants in material/labor/overhead allocation, work order costing, standard cost maintenance, and variance analysis.
8. Monitor production yield rate, material loss rate, and overhead allocation reasonableness; continuously optimize cost management processes.
9. Ensure full compliance with Thai VAT, corporate income tax, personal income tax, social security, and all other tax types; file and pay on time.
10. Maintain BOI preferential qualification; assist in preferential policy filing and documentation; conduct tax planning.
11. Manage daily cash flow; review fund plans and payment arrangements; supervise cashier operations; liaise with banks for daily settlement; manage foreign exchange and liquidity risks.
12. Coordinate with internal and external auditors; provide complete financial materials; follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
13. Manage the GL, cost, and cashier finance team; define responsibilities; guide daily work; review outputs; provide on-the-job training.
14. Submit prior month's financial statements and notes to the parent company by the 6th of each month.
15. Report operating results to the parent company's finance department on a regular monthly basis.
16. Complete other tasks assigned by company leadership.
Qualifications:
1. 5+ years of experience in a Chinese-invested enterprise; fluent Chinese; Thai as a working language; familiar with Thai business communication norms.
2. Full-time bachelor's degree or above in accounting, financial management, taxation, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred; experience in full-scope financial management in chemical manufacturing preferred.
3. Proficient in Thai TFRS; familiar with Chinese accounting standards; mastery of Thai VAT, corporate income tax, personal income tax, social security, and BOI preferential policies; practical tax planning experience.
4. Core competencies in cost control, budget management, and cash flow management for chemical manufacturing; proficient in ERP financial systems (SAP, Kingdee, Yonyou, etc.) and Thai local tax reporting systems.
Skills & Competencies:
1. Comprehensive accounting and financial theory; familiar with financial laws and regulations.
2. Familiar with financial laws, investment, import/export trade, and corporate financial systems.
3. Knowledge of tax law, operational analysis, cost control, and cost accounting.
4. Rich experience in financial management, capital planning, fundraising, and capital operations.
5. Good oral and written communication skills.
6. Proficient in office software and financial software.
