Finance here isn't a back-office function; it sits right at the center of how decisions get made.
With strong growth targets on the horizon and systems ready to be scaled, they're now looking for a Finance Manager who wants to own something real and help shape what comes next.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the CFO and working directly alongside the founders, you'll be the internal point of truth for the numbers, bringing clarity, structure and genuine commercial insight to the business. This isn't a role for someone who prefers the background. It's for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves, build something, and be heard.
Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Taking full ownership of the month-end and year-end close cycle across a multi-entity group
- Preparing and reviewing general purpose financial statements to a high standard
- Coordinating and managing the external audit process, serving as the key liaison between the business and its auditors and advisors
- Driving cash flow forecasting and keeping a sharp eye on working capital across the group
- Supervising outsourced bookkeeping and ensuring transactional activity is accurate, timely and well-controlled
- Building and embedding robust financial controls, policies and processes that will hold up as the business scales
- Identifying and leading improvements across cloud-based finance systems and reporting infrastructure
- Delivering management and board-level reporting that is clear, concise and actually useful
ABOUT YOU:
- Proven experience in a commercial environment, with at least 5 years' local Australian experience
- Degree qualified & ideally a CPA/CA member or working towards completion
- A sharp eye for financial control paired with the ability to produce management reporting that is clean, accurate and genuinely decision useful
- Proven ability to manage cash flow, drive accurate forecasting and maintain tight working capital discipline
- A clear, confident communicator who can translate complex financials into plain English
- Proficient in MYOB, system implementations & advanced Excel skills
