Auxilia Group Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager with a new company based in Cork. This is a permanent opportunity.
Role:
- Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounting controls.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP
- Develop annual budgets with operations and commercial teams.
- Analyse financial variances and propose corrective actions.
- Manage and develop the finance team.
- Support audits and maintain internal controls.
Requirements:
- Professional accounting qualification: ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CIA, or equivalent.
- Experience in a finance management role, ideally within a transport or logistics environment.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in a fast-paced operational setting.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work in a fast‑moving environment.
