The Finance Controller Manager – Turbo Operations is responsible for safeguarding the financial and operational integrity of Rappi’s Turbo business in México. This role leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal control frameworks across the Dark Stores, ensuring inventory accuracy, Procure-to-Pay compliance, proper recovery of supplier investments, and reliability of financial results.
This person acts as a key bridge between Operations and Finance, protecting margins, preventing capital leakage, and ensuring transparency in monthly closings, accounting controls, and leadership reporting. The ideal candidate combines strong financial rigor with operational understanding and is able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

- Inventory Control & Inbound Reconciliation
- Design and implement audit protocols for merchandise receiving across 59+ Dark Stores.
- Ensure physical deliveries from suppliers fully match system records in the WMS, preventing inventory discrepancies and “phantom shortages.”
- Strengthen inbound control processes to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage, losses, and operational leakages.
- Partner closely with Operations teams to identify root causes of discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Control
- Lead the administrative relationship with suppliers to ensure a smooth and compliant invoicing process.
- Oversee and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, goods received, and supplier invoices.
- Ensure strong controls throughout the Procure-to-Pay cycle, minimizing payment errors, delays, and financial exposure.
- Drive process improvements that enhance visibility, compliance, and efficiency in accounts payable flows.
- Chargebacks & Supplier Investment Recovery
- Build and structure the end-to-end process to collect supplier-funded discounts, rebates, and trade marketing investments.
- Ensure commercial agreements related to campaigns, promotions, and funding support are properly billed, reconciled, and recovered.
- Prevent capital leakage by validating that all agreed supplier contributions are accurately reflected and collected on time.
- Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams to establish governance and visibility around trade marketing claims.
- P&L Integrity & Accounting Control
- Ensure that Turbo Colombia’s financial statements and accounting records accurately reflect operational reality.
- Partner with Accounting and Finance teams during monthly closings to validate expense execution, accruals, provisions, and operational reversals.
- Analyze and explain monthly variances in operating expenses, cost of sales, margins, and other key financial lines.
- Support the preparation of preliminary monthly results, ensuring reliability and transparency of reported performance.
- Financial Reporting & Leadership Visibility
- Own the reporting of key financial deviations, risks, action plans, and business performance drivers in leadership forums such as WBRs and planning reviews.
- Translate operational and financial data into clear insights for decision-making.
- Monitor key KPIs related to controls, margins, inventory accuracy, supplier recovery, and cost performance.
- Provide visibility to senior stakeholders on financial risks, process gaps, and strategic opportunities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience in finance controlling, audit, accounting, internal controls, or operations finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting processes, internal controls, and Procure-to-Pay cycles.
- Experience managing inventory controls, reconciliations, and financial processes in operational environments.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Accounting, Procurement, and Commercial teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to identify financial risks.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; knowledge of ERP, WMS, and financial systems is strongly preferred.
- SQL, Power BI, or other data visualization tools are a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English.

- Ability to build processes from scratch and scale them in complex environments.
- High ownership, strong stakeholder management, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to leadership teams.
