Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting function across a group of companies in Singapore and Indonesia. This role will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, internal controls, and team supervision, while supporting management with financial insights for business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions across the group of companies.
- Manage full sets of accounts and ensure accurate and timely month-end, year-end, and statutory closing.
- Prepare monthly management reports, including financial analysis and variance explanations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support business operations and strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies across jurisdictions.
- Handle tax and statutory matters, including GST / VAT filings, corporate income tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant external parties.
- Review and strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and reporting accuracy.
- Supervise, guide, and develop the Finance team in daily operations and accounting matters.
- Support management on finance-related projects and other ad hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of full set accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Good understanding of tax and statutory compliance, including GST / VAT and corporate income tax.
- Experience supporting finance operations across Singapore and Indonesia is preferred.
- Experience handling audits and liaising with external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
