We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka looking for a Finance Manager for a leading conglomerate company based in Colombo.
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Manager – Corporate Finance to oversee corporate finance operations, financial reporting, and business partnering activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to strategic initiatives while ensuring robust financial governance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure the timely preparation of accurate management and statutory reports.
- Lead the preparation and coordination of the annual report in compliance with regulatory and reporting standards.
- Develop, review, and implement Group finance policies and procedures.
- Manage SAP-driven finance processes and support continuous process improvements.
- Partner with corporate office functions by providing financial insights and decision-making support.
- Ensure compliance with finance policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor budgets, analyse variances, and manage the corporate cost base to improve financial performance.
- Analyse financial data and prepare reports to support strategic planning and business growth.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to ensure effective financial governance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile
- Membership of a recognised professional accounting body (CASL, CIMA, or ACCA) or a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial reporting, or financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment while managing multiple priorities.
