An international industrial manufacturer is seeking a Finance Director with a solid background in controlling to oversee the finance organisation. This is a strong opportunity for a senior finance professional ready to step into a broader leadership role within a dynamic plant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes to support operational performance and decision-making.
Drive budget management, forecasting, and cost control initiatives in alignment with overall business strategy.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate policies, and internal controls.
Provide strategic insights and financial guidance to the plant leadership team.
Collaborate closely with operational and functional teams to promote financial transparency and efficiency.
Represent finance in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Strong background in controlling, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Currently operating as a Controller Lead, Senior Controller, or similar role with leadership exposure.
Proficient in SAP – this is an advantage.
Analytical, hands-on, and comfortable working in a lean, plant-focused structure.
Fluent in English and capable of working in an international environment.
German language is NOT required
