Role Description

We are looking for a Finance & Controlling Manager to lead the financial, accounting, and management control function of KAYA Energy Group.

This role will be responsible for ensuring strong financial management across the company, including accounting, financial statements, cash flow projections, budgeting, internal controls, project profitability analysis, taxes, financial planning, customer financing analysis, cost control, and executive reporting.

The ideal candidate must combine strong accounting knowledge, financial judgment, analytical thinking, organization, and strategic vision. This person will play a key role in providing visibility into the real profitability of projects, strengthening financial controls, improving cash flow planning, and supporting leadership in strategic decision-making.

The Finance & Controlling Manager will report financial results, key indicators, and management insights to senior leadership, department managers, and the Board of Directors, ensuring accurate, timely, and decision-oriented financial information.

Key Responsabilities

  • Lead the company’s finance, accounting, and management control functions.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, accounting reports, and monthly results.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and consistent accounting records.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, financial projections, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Analyze the profitability of solar projects, including margins, costs, deviations, and expected returns.
  • Control EPC project budgets, operating expenses, investments, and financial commitments.
  • Build financial models to evaluate projects, investment scenarios, financing alternatives, and business growth.
  • Support the financial structuring and analysis of customer financing options.
  • Implement internal control policies, financial compliance processes, and administrative best practices.
  • Oversee tax obligations, accounting closings, and financial regulatory compliance.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities, financial efficiencies, and resource optimization initiatives.
  • Prepare financial reports for managers, executive leadership, and the Board of Directors.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, and working capital needs.
  • Support the company’s financial strategy, including reinvestment of funds, liquidity planning, and resource allocation.
  • Work closely with commercial, operations, project management, and leadership teams to ensure financial decisions are aligned with business profitability.
  • Strengthen financial processes, controls, internal policies, reporting discipline, and budget accountability.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a finance professional with a solid accounting and financial background, capable of combining operational execution with strategic analysis.

The ideal candidate must have experience in corporate finance, accounting, budget control, profitability analysis, cash flow management, taxes, and management reporting. This person must be structured, analytical, reliable, and capable of challenging numbers, identifying deviations, proposing improvements, and communicating financial results clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Professional English is required, as the role may involve reports, documentation, partners, suppliers, banks, investors, or Board members in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, FP&A, financial auditing, corporate finance, or similar roles.
  • Experience preparing or analyzing financial statements, cash flow projections, budgets, and management reports.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, taxes, internal controls, and financial compliance.
  • Experience in profitability analysis, cost control, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Ability to build financial models, cash flow projections, and scenario analyses.
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Professional English proficiency required.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, financial judgment, and results orientation.
  • Ability to work with managers across different areas and translate financial information into business decisions.
  • Experience in energy, construction, EPC projects, infrastructure, banking, auditing, financial consulting, or related sectors is highly valued.
